Love Island’s Dejon Slams ‘Surviving Dejon’ Book as ‘Full of Lies’ – Reveals He’s Taking Legal Action!

Dejon Noel-Williams, the 26-year-old former semi-professional footballer and Love Island star, has fiercely hit back at a controversial book titled Surviving Dejon, branding it as “unfair” and riddled with “untruths.” The book, penned by Niah Sienna, who is reportedly the sister of Dejon’s brother but not related by blood, has sparked significant backlash since its announcement. Dejon, who faced scrutiny for his behavior toward his now-girlfriend Megan Moore during his time on the ITV2 show, is now taking legal steps to challenge the publication, vowing to clear his name.

Appearing on Capital XTRA Breakfast with hosts Robert Bruce and Shayna Marie alongside Megan, Dejon addressed the allegations head-on. “There’s a lot of untruths and a lot of unfair stories which I am challenging at the moment,” he declared. Emphasizing his support system, he added, “The most important thing is that Meg knows who I am, my family know who I am, and my friends know who I am.” His remarks underscored a determination to focus on those who truly matter to him amid the storm of controversy.

In a surprising twist, Dejon extended gratitude to fellow Love Island contestants Andrada Pop and Billykiss Azeez, with whom he had clashed during the show. He revealed that both defended his character after leaving the villa, stating, “They were basically saying, ‘Dejon, there’s so much being said about you. We know that’s not you. We know that’s not who you are as a person.’ So yeah, shoutout to them two because they didn’t need to do that.”

The controversy surrounding Surviving Dejon intensified after Niah Sienna announced the book, claiming, “Dejon is a narcissist, he’s manipulative. I’ve been telling everyone this for the past 10 years now, but no one believed me.” Her allegations, which include accusations of gaslighting and abuse, have fueled heated discussions online. Dejon, however, has refused to stay silent. Earlier this week, he took to Instagram to share a heartfelt statement alongside a series of images, addressing the claims directly.

“I’ve stayed quiet, but that doesn’t mean it hasn’t affected me,” Dejon wrote in his post. “I hold myself accountable for my communication, and every day I’m growing as a person, so thank you for those who see the good in me.” He emphasized that he is more than a reality TV character, stating, “I’m also a human being with real emotions. Some of the stuff I’ve seen said about me has been hard to deal with and they are the furthest thing from the truth.”

Now, Dejon has revealed he is ‘in the process of challenging’ the book as he claimed it contains ‘a lot of untruths and a lot of unfair stories’

Appearing on Capital XTRA Breakfast with Robert Bruce and Shayna Marie with Meg on Thursday, Dejon said: ‘There’s a lot of untruths and a lot of unfair stories which I am challenging at the moment’

‘The most important thing is that Meg knows who I am, my family know who I am, and my friends know who I am,’ he said

Surprisingly, Dejon went on to thank Andrada Pop and Billykiss Azeez – both of which he had run-ins with on the show – for defending him

Dejon also opened up about the emotional toll of the backlash, revealing he has faced thousands of hateful messages, including racist abuse and death threats, across platforms like Instagram and TikTok. The intensity of the online vitriol forced him to disable comments on his social media profiles. In his candid response, he shared how physical activity has been his anchor during this challenging time. “Running, training, pushing myself when everything in my head feels heavy—it clears my mind, helps me breathe, reminds me of who I am outside of the noise,” he wrote. Offering words of encouragement to others, he added, “If you’re struggling mentally, I get it. I really do. Just find that one thing that brings you back to yourself and take it one step at a time.”

In announcing news of her book, Niah said: ‘Dejon is a narcissist, he’s manipulative. I’ve been telling everyone this for the past 10 years now but no one believed me’

The Love Island star’s troubles began during his time in the villa, where his interactions with Megan drew criticism from viewers and fellow contestants. The couple was voted out just days before the show’s finale earlier this month, intensifying the scrutiny on Dejon’s character. In his first post-show interview with the Daily Mail, Dejon addressed the “narcissist” label, asserting, “I’m an empathetic person,” and detailing the overwhelming wave of online hate he has endured.

As the controversy surrounding Surviving Dejon continues to unfold, Dejon remains resolute in his fight to challenge the book’s narrative. With legal action underway and support from those closest to him, including unexpected allies from the Love Island villa, Dejon is determined to set the record straight and reclaim his story. For now, the reality star is focusing on his growth, resilience, and the relationships that keep him grounded amid the chaos.
