Stylist Stole $50K from Dolores Catania Mid-‘Traitors’ Shoot – The Brazen Scam That Stunned RHONJ Fans!

In a shocking revelation that has left Real Housewives of New Jersey fans reeling, Dolores Catania, 54, disclosed that she was swindled out of $50,000 by a shady stylist while filming the third season of The Traitors in Scotland in 2024. The bombshell dropped during the premiere episode of her new podcast, By Order of the Faithfuls, co-hosted with Tamra Judge, 57, and Wells Adams, 41, on August 11, 2025.

The scam unfolded as Dolores prepared for her high-stakes appearance on the Peacock competition series, set against the dramatic backdrop of the Scottish Highlands. Tasked with curating her wardrobe, the unnamed stylist was given access to Dolores’ credit card to order outfits. However, what seemed like a standard arrangement quickly turned into a nightmare. “She would order things on my credit card and send it to me. That’s how you do it with a stylist, right?” Dolores explained on the podcast, via Bravo and Cocktails. Yet, as filming progressed, the promised looks never arrived. “I kept calling her like, ‘Where’s my stuff?’” Dolores recalled, growing increasingly suspicious.

The stylist’s extravagant purchases painted a damning picture. Instead of tartan plaids or outfits suited for the Scottish setting, the charges included luxury items like YSL leather bags and extra-small clothing—far from Dolores’ style or size. “On my best day, I’m not an extra small,” she quipped. The final straw? A $900 Sephora charge that raised red flags. “I don’t go to Sephora. I get beauty products sent to me every week. I have beauty products up my a**,” Dolores declared, highlighting the absurdity of the spree, which also included $4,000 at Revolve and $2,500 at VarTech.

The betrayal stung, but Dolores fought back. After a grueling battle with American Express, she was reimbursed for the fraudulent charges. However, she remained tight-lipped about the stylist’s fate, leaving fans speculating about the consequences of such a bold con. “It was a fight,” Dolores admitted, reflecting on the ordeal that marred her Traitors experience.

Despite the drama, Dolores didn’t miss a beat on The Traitors, with Tamra playfully probing, “Did you run out of outfits?” to which Dolores confidently replied, “No, I didn’t.” Her resilience shone through, proving that even a $50,000 scam couldn’t dim her star power.
