Drama, betrayal, and shocking allegations are no strangers to The Real Housewives of Orange County (RHOC), but the latest scandal involving Tamra Judge and Gretchen Rossi has left even seasoned cast member Heather Dubrow reeling. In an exclusive interview with Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea, Dubrow opened up about the explosive rumor that Judge allegedly “roofied” Rossi during a controversial moment from the show’s past, shedding light on a saga that has reignited old feuds and sent shockwaves through the Bravo universe.

The rumor, which centers around a 2008 Season 4 episode, alleges that Tamra Judge, 57, was involved in an incident where Gretchen Rossi, 46, was supposedly drugged. The episode in question is infamous among RHOC fans for Rossi’s “naked wasted” moment at a cast party, where Judge encouraged heavy drinking. However, Dubrow, who joined the show in 2012, was quick to point out that the alleged incident predates her time on the series, leaving her without firsthand context.
“I had no idea what was going on,” Dubrow, 56, admitted, recalling her confusion when the rumor surfaced during filming. “We didn’t have the benefit of knowing what happened in that conversation. It was like I skipped a chapter in the book.”

The allegation was reportedly sparked by newcomer Katie Ginella, 41, and became a hot topic after being discussed by SiriusXM radio host and social media personality Kiki Monique. Ginella, however, vehemently denied spreading the rumor, while Rossi firmly stated she never claimed to have been roofied during that infamous Season 4 party. The conflicting accounts have only fueled the fire, with Judge insisting that Ginella shared the gossip with “bloggers” like Monique, while Rossi sided with Ginella, escalating tensions further.
The fallout from the rumor reached a boiling point during a heated confrontation among Judge, Rossi, and Ginella. Judge, enraged by Rossi’s decision to believe Ginella over her, spiraled into a dramatic tailspin that culminated in her announcing a brief exit from RHOC. Dubrow, caught in the crossfire, was stunned by the intensity of Judge’s reaction.
“When Tamra came back into the room, I was like, ‘What happened?’” Dubrow shared. “I thought I missed something major. Even after watching the episode, I was still piecing it together. Gina [Kirschenheiter] texted me afterward and was like, ‘Now do you get it?’ and I was like, ‘I think so?’”

Judge eventually returned to filming, but the drama left lasting ripples, particularly for Ginella, whose relationships with the cast—including former allies Rossi and Jennifer Pedranti—began to unravel as the season progressed.
Despite her own rocky history with Ginella, Dubrow expressed disappointment over the newcomer’s trajectory on the show. Last season, Ginella came in “hot” with criticism toward Dubrow, but the veteran Housewife had hoped for a fresh start. “I was excited to get to know her,” Dubrow said. “She’s so beautiful, has a lovely family, and a great relationship with her husband, Matt. I wish she had leaned into that and let us see her authentic self without all the nonsense. That would have been so much better.”
Instead, Ginella’s involvement in the rumor mill has strained her connections with the cast, leaving her increasingly isolated as the season unfolds.
The RHOC roofie rumor saga is just one of many explosive moments in the current season, proving once again why the show remains a cornerstone of Bravo’s reality TV empire. With friendships fracturing, old wounds reopening, and shocking allegations flying, the drama is far from over.
