Steph Curry reveals bold plan that will shock the entire NBA world after retirement

Steph Curry, the Golden State Warriors guard, is widely recognized as one of the most talented players in NBA history. Calling him merely “talented” would be an understatement. As one of only 15 players to win at least two MVP awards, with four NBA Championships and the record for the most three-pointers made in league history, Curry’s basketball prowess is undeniable. However, his skills extend far beyond the hardwood.

Curry is also an exceptional golfer, having clinched the American Century Championship in 2023, where he impressively scored a hole-in-one during the tournament. While he still has several productive years ahead in the NBA as he pursues another championship, the 36-year-old superstar is already setting his sights on a remarkable goal for his post-basketball career.

In a recent interview with CNBC Sport, Curry revealed his ambitious plan to compete on the Senior PGA Tour once he becomes eligible at age 50. “That would be a fun goal to go after, for sure,” Curry stated. “It’s an extremely challenging tour to crack if you’re not one of the champion, ex-PGA guys that are making that jump after you turn 50. To do all the qualifying journey and all that, I’m pretty sure I’ll try that… It’s wild that 13 years from now I’ll be age-eligible.”

Currently under contract with the Warriors through the 2026-27 season, Curry may continue playing in the NBA beyond that point. However, the fiercely competitive athlete has no intention of stepping away from competition after retiring from basketball. His bold vision to take on the Senior PGA Tour promises to be a shocking and exciting chapter, showcasing his drive to excel in yet another professional arena.
