SHOCKER: Luann de Lesseps Admits Her RHONY Regret, And The Bombshell News About a “Reboot” Being Discussed!

Luann de Lesseps, the iconic diva of The Real Housewives of New York City (RHONY), dropped a bombshell on Dorinda Medley’s SiriusXM show Reality Checked, confessing the one on-air moment she wishes she could erase from her storied reality TV history. The Countess herself admitted that her cringe-worthy jab at former castmate Carole Radziwill—calling her a “pedophile” during a heated moment on a past season—was a major regret. “Maybe when I called Carole a pedophile,” Luann admitted with a laugh, adding, “And then I didn’t know how to spell it.” Dorinda, clearly stunned, responded with a candid, “Oh wow. That was – yeah, okay. That’s a take-back … I agree with you there.”

The shocking revelation comes at a time when RHONY fans are buzzing with excitement over the possibility of the original cast making a triumphant return. After the dramatic cast overhaul following season 13, which saw Luann and her fellow OGs replaced by a younger ensemble, the clamor for the return of the beloved originals has only grown louder. Recent sightings of Luann cozying up with her former co-stars have fueled speculation that a reboot featuring the original cast might be on the horizon.

During an appearance on The Skinny Confidential Him & Her Show, Luann teased fans with tantalizing news. When asked if the original RHONY cast could return to the screen, she flashed a knowing smile and said, “I think so. I think there’s a place for the OGs.” She went on to reveal that there’s “been some talk” about bringing back the original stars for a RHONY reboot, sending fans into a frenzy of anticipation.

Adding to the drama, Andy Cohen, the mastermind behind the Real Housewives franchise, recently shared on his SiriusXM show Andy Cohen Live that he and Carole Radziwill have buried the hatchet after years of public feuding. “She and I, as you know, had a big kind of falling out [years ago]. She asked me never to speak to her again, and we went at each other kind of publicly for years,” Cohen revealed. However, a turning point came last year when the two reconciled. “She and I kind of went at it again after that New York Magazine piece came out,” he continued, “and then she texted me and said, ‘You know, I just kind of realized, you and I could deal with this privately.’” The two hashed things out, with Cohen noting they’ve now reached “a very positive place.”
