A Journey of SELF-SABOTAGE! How the Faithfuls’ Mass Elimination Wrote the DARKEST Chapter in Celebrity Traitors History.

The latest installment of Celebrity Traitors aired on Thursday, plunging the game into unprecedented chaos as the Faithfuls once again failed to unmask any Traitors, instead shattering records by eliminating the highest number of their own in the show’s history.

The episode kicked off with high-stakes drama at the roundtable, where a deadlock vote led to Line of Duty star Mark Bonnar’s banishment by a twist of fate, as the group couldn’t choose between him and historian David Olusoga.

In a swift follow-up, the hidden Traitors—Jonathan Ross, Alan Carr, and Cat Burns—opted to murder comedian Joe Wilkinson, whose growing suspicions about their identities made him a prime target.

The night’s biggest shock came when intellectual giant Stephen Fry was banished after garnering four votes. The 68-year-old exited gracefully, declaring, “To be part of such a group is a privilege, an honour, and a deep delight and pleasure. Thank you, and no hard feelings, I promise. I am, of course, as I have told you all, a Faithful.”

After six episodes, this relentless self-sabotage has seen 10 Faithfuls either banished or murdered, with zero Traitors exposed—marking the contestants as the least effective in Traitors lore. For context, the 2022 debut series saw eight Faithfuls lost before a Traitor was identified. Season two, won by Harry Clark, and season three, which aired earlier this year, each managed to uncover a Traitor after only four Faithful eliminations.

With just three episodes remaining and nine players left, the Faithfuls face an uphill battle to eject Ross, Carr, or Burns. Thursday’s cliffhanger heightened the tension, as actor Nick Mohammed, comedian Lucy Beaumont, and broadcaster Kate Garraway were summoned to the giant chessboard by host Claudia Winkleman in the dead of night, where the Traitors will murder one of them in the next episode.

Suspicions zeroed in on Mohammed, 45, after he confessed to “deliberately sabotaging” the day’s mission, believing it would aid the Faithfuls by disrupting the Traitors. In the Chessboard Challenge, teams competed to answer questions correctly and build the charity prize pot. The winning team earned immunity from murder, forcing the Traitors to target the losers.

Both teams aced the first two questions, leading rugby star Joe Marler and Mohammed to represent their sides. Mohammed whispered to Marler, “I’ll let you win,” reasoning that his team likely harbored more Traitors. Asked to identify “the leader of the pack,” Mohammed placed his gravestone on “Jonathan,” while Marler correctly chose “Stephen,” securing victory for his team.
