A ‘DOWNPOUR’ OF TRIBUTES: MAFS UK Bride Showered with Praise from Co-stars, Right After Her ‘Heartbreaking’ Admission That Moved Everyone!

Married at First Sight UK star Maeve has received an outpouring of support after her devastating departure from the experiment.

The 29-year-old aesthetics practitioner married fitness instructor Joe, 31, at the start of the series and initially appeared to connect well with him.

The pair even professed their love for each other, but their relationship deteriorated after Joe confided in fellow participant Ashley that he had doubts about his feelings.

Maeve began questioning their union when Joe abandoned her to visit his relatives following the tragic passing of his grandfather.

Having missed crucial moments in the process, the groom eventually returned this week and formally ended things with his spouse, reports OK!

The Newcastle bride was therefore forced to face another commitment ceremony on her own but maintained her dignity throughout.

Looking back on her experience in the programme, Maeve revealed: “I did feel heartbroken this week.”

“I deserve better, I deserve answers and I know that I deserve respect,” she went on.

Becoming tearful, the bride continued: “I might not be going out with a husband but I’m going with friends that actually love me and that just means so much to me.”

Her instincts about her newfound friendships proved accurate, as they all came together to offer their backing following Monday’s (October 27) episode.

She continued to laud her co-star’s confidence and self-belief, adding: “Grateful to have watched you grow so beautifully.”

Latecomer Leisha also posted words of support for Maeve on Instagram, stating: “This queen deserves the world she is the purest soul with the kindest heart.

“You’ve smashed it girl and done yourself proud and came on with the right intentions as you should.”

Fan favourite Keye dedicated an Instagram post to the bride, gushing: “Since the day I had the god d**n honour of meeting her, my world has been softer, safer, brighter.”

Despite not attending the commitment ceremony, Joe penned a letter explaining his decision to leave the show after realising Maeve was not his “forever person”.
