CONFIRMED: The Celebrity Traitors Final Verdict is Near! One Star is About to ‘Betray’ Their Way to the Massive Cash Prize!

After an incredible eight episodes, The Celebrity Traitors finale is almost upon us, with either Faithfuls or Traitors about to be crowned champions of the BBC’s first A-list series.

Bringing 19 famous faces into Claudia Winkleman’s murder mystery gameshow has proven to be a risk that has certainly paid off.

Alan Carr, “Big Dog” Jonathan Ross and Cat Burns were selected to be Traitors from the outset, playing secretly against Faithfuls Celia Imrie, Charlotte Church, Clare Balding, David Olusoga, Joe Marler, Joe Wilkinson, Kate Garraway, Lucy Beaumont, Mark Bonnar, Nick Mohammed, Niko Omilana, Paloma Faith, Ruth Codd, Stephen Fry, Tameka Empson and Tom Daley.

Singer Paloma became the first victim of the game, murdered in plain sight and left lying in a coffin, whilst the likes of Tameka and Mark were brutally banished from the roundtable after tense arguments.

But the time has now come for the winners to be crowned.

Ahead of The Celebrity Traitors airing, Claudia shared, speaking of the cast: “They’re incredibly smart and kind. They play the game beautifully and were fully engulfed in it. It was an extraordinary experience and we’re so so lucky this nineteen said yes. It’s something we never take for granted and are so grateful for.”

She had previously admitted she’d said no to the idea of a celebrity edition, explaining: “I thankfully have absolutely zero power, because I said, ‘I really don’t think we should do that’.”

However, after hearing the stars who had expressed interest, she admitted: “I can’t believe it, I can’t believe they said yes.”

She went on: “When we do the non-celebrity version, I feel like their mum… I feel very protective over them, I want them to do well. I’m desperate for the Faithfuls to catch a Traitor and I’m desperate for the Traitors to get away with it in equal measure, and I want them to be happy and to enjoy the experience and the camaraderie was extraordinary between all of them.”
