HISTORIC UPSET: The ‘Purest’ Player Was the ULTIMATE DECEIVER! Alan Carr’s Wild Victory Celebration Has Everyone Talking.

He may have left the Scottish castle but Alan Carr isn’t ready to hang up his Traitors cloak just yet.

The comedian, 49, who won the Celebrity show in a thrilling finale which aired last week, was in the party spirit as he headed out in London.

Alan was spotted by fans on a night out in his iconic costume, complete with lantern, in the streets of the capital on the night of his victory.

One partygoer took to TikTok, to share a video of Alan jokingly yelling: ‘F*****g Faithfuls!’ to those who had stopped him to take a photo.

The fan captioned the video, which has received nearly 200,000 likes: ‘Can’t believe Alan was strolling round central London last night dressed like this (laughing face emoji) to meet him and then see him win the traitors was very exciting.’

The video garnered hundreds of comments, including multiple household brands; Sky, Next, Specsavers and Asda, proving Alan’s appeal.

Calling for him to receive a knighthood, one fan wrote: ‘How is he not Sir Alan Carr yet’, while others posted: ‘A true icon’ and ‘It’s Alan’s world we’re just living in it’.

An average audience of 11.1 million tuned in for the grand finale that saw Traitor Alan, 49, hoodwink Nick Mohammed and David Olusoga into believing he was a Faithful.

With a peak of 12 million viewers, it was the BBC’s biggest overnight audience since Gavin & Stacey’s Christmas special last year.

Viewers watched in awe and bewilderment as Alan snatched the £87,500 prize, despite his previous claims he was as bad a Traitor as series three star Linda Rands.

Alan’s surprise win came as a result of Nick, 45, and David, 55, turning on fellow Faithful Joe Marler at the last minute in a shock twist that left viewers reeling.

Despite Joe, 35, correctly guessing that Alan and Cat Burns, 25, were the remaining Traitors, he failed to convince the others and found himself being banished at the last minute.

Taking to X/Twitter during the show, viewers expressed their love for Alan as they declared: ‘The fact that ALAN has won the entire show after this moment is exactly why I pay my tv license x #CelebrityTraitors’.

Others added: ‘Give this man an Oscar, BAFTA and Knighthood immediately. TV moment of the year/ decade #CelebrityTraitors.’

Following his win, Alan said: ‘I was awful, I had no poker face but here I am. Maybe I do exaggerate a showbiz story now and again. But to just lie to people’s faces, it was tough’

‘He was the best of traitors, he was the worst of traitors. He made this series incredible and I am absolutely bloody thrilled. YESSSS. #CelebrityTraitors.’

‘TV moment of the year. That was a sensational ending. Alan Carr is DEFINITELY NOT the most hated person in the country right now #CelebrityTraitors.’

‘It’s only a game. It’s a b****y reality TV show. It doesn’t really matter but goodness me …. THAT was one of the greatest TV moments you could ever see. Brilliant stuff.’

‘Killed 2 in plain sight – Terrible liar – Forgot he had a shield – Couldn’t keep a straight face when saying he was faithful – Voted with Cat in a pair AND HE STILL WON. The greatest worst traitor of all time.’

Chatty Man, which aired on Channel 4 2009-2017 (pictured 2010) could now be making a return as bosses hope to capitalise off his Traitors success, after 12 million tuned into the finale

Now Alan’s Chatty Man talk show is reportedly set for a reboot following his triumphant win on Celebrity Traitors and reminding audiences ‘how funny he can be’.

Chatty Man, which aired on Channel 4 2009-2017 and won Alan a BAFTA for Best Entertainment Performance in 2013, could now be making a return as bosses hope to capitalise off his latest success.

The comedian has also been tipped to be Strictly’s new host after Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman announced their departure last month after 20 years.

A source said: ‘Alan’s comedy talents were showcased perfectly in the Traitors castle and it’s reminded many people just how funny he is.

‘Even people who claimed they didn’t like him before have loved watching him laugh and lie his way through the episodes’.
