I’M a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! is gearing up to go live next week, and fans are already predicting a certain someone will make it all the way to the final.
Comedy actress and interviewer Ruby Wax was announced as part of the show’s 2025 line up for this month, and fans can’t wait to see her on-screen again.

The quick-witted contestant, 72, is already speculated to become a finalist, thanks to her past experience acting in jungle-esque environments and even stranded locations.
During her TV show Ruby Wax: Cast Away, Ruby was “stranded” off of the coast of a remote island in Madagascar.
She spent ten days castaway there on her own, and the programme was shot in a documentary style where she recorded her own journey using a camera.
While that experiment was very much planned out, and what’s to come on I’m A Celeb remains more unknown to the star, it still puts her a foot ahead in terms of understanding the mentality of what to expect from the programme.
Her experience on TV involved real survival challenges like finding food and water, dealing with difficult weather, and being completely isolated.
But if these rationales didn’t seem like enough to back up Ruby’s potential, she’s also trained as a qualified psychotherapist, and holds a Master’s degree in Mindfulness-Based cognitive behavioural therapy from Oxford University.
So if anyone has the mental strength it has to be her, claim excited fans.
“She’s a professional psychologist now though. She’ll know how to ride it out I think,” said one user.
Others agreed, though only time will tell how she feels once she’s in the jungle.
A source spoke to The Sun about the excitement surrounding Ruby’s inclusion on the show, enthusiastic about how she’ll connect with others on the programme, as well as with viewers.
“Ruby’s a proper TV legend and adds real gravitas to this year’s line-up.
“She’s interviewed some of the biggest stars in the world so will have no problem getting to know her fellow campmates.
“It will make great TV for viewers.”
Ruby first found fame after landing a TV role on the ITV sitcom, Girls on Top in 1985.
She performed alongside Dawn French, Jennifer Saunders and Tracey Ullman on the show, which came to an end the following year.
Ruby then went on to be a comic interviewer with her own shows such as the BBC’s Ruby Wax Meets.
She was notoriously known for interviewing stars such as Tom Hanks, Pamela Anderson and Sharon Stone.
