LeBron James is taking his Beverly Hills estate to an entirely new level with a massive, multi-phase renovation that includes building two separate family homes on the same property.
The NBA superstar, now 40, originally purchased the sprawling California mansion five years ago for $36.75 million. He quickly demolished the existing four-bedroom home and began customizing it to his vision. Now, according to exclusive photos obtained by OK! and unreported building permits, LeBron is expanding the estate even further.

The Two-Family Compound Design
The newly renovated property will span 15,906 square feet in total.
Main home: A two-story residence with a 7,702 square-foot basement garage plus an additional 1,626 square feet of storage space. It also includes a two-car garage and a spa at the bottom of the property (measuring 69 feet by 26 feet).
Secondary home: A smaller structure at 6,550 square feet, featuring a large terrace, basement theater, two-car garage, hot tubs, and cold plunge pools.
Additional structures: A 209 square-foot guard house, alarms on all doors and gates, and a 10-foot-high perimeter fence for maximum privacy and security.

Outdoor features: Water displays in the middle of the shared driveway, plus two large 15-foot by 7-foot water features in the center of the estate.Eco upgrades: Solar panels and an outdoor kitchen complete the luxurious redesign.
The renovation project, which first began in 2023, reflects LeBron’s desire to create a multi-generational family compound where his wife Savannah and their three children — Bronny (21), Bryce Maximus (17), and Zhuri Nova (11) — can live comfortably and privately.
LeBron’s Real Estate Journey

Over 20 years ago, at just 18 years old, LeBron purchased his first home in his hometown of Akron, Ohio for $2.1 million shortly after being drafted No. 1 overall by the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2003. He tore down the original structure and built a custom mansion now estimated to be worth over $10 million. The 30,000-square-foot residence includes six bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, six half-baths, a bowling alley, recording studio, and barbershop.
When he joined the Miami Heat in 2010, LeBron bought a 16,000-square-foot, six-bedroom mansion in Coconut Grove, Florida for $9 million. He put it back on the market in October 2014 for $17 million after returning to Cleveland, eventually reducing the price and selling it in August 2015 for $13.4 million.
