Chicago Drop a Bombshell: Chicago Bulls Make Josh Giddey Announcement Before Suns Game

On Thursday night, the Chicago Bulls will visit the Phoenix Suns in Arizona.

The Bulls are coming off a 116-108 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder at the United Center.

Josh Giddey finished the loss with 14 points, nine rebounds, nine assists, one steal and two blocks while shooting 5/12 from the field and 3/7 from three-point range in 33 minutes of playing time.

For the game, the Bulls could be without one of their best players, as Giddey is on the injury report.

K.C. Johnson of Chicago Sports Network wrote: “Bulls list Matas Buzelis and Josh Giddey questionable vs. Suns with right ankle sprains.

Patrick Williams and Jalen Smith are doubtful.”

Josh Giddey’s Strong Season In Chicago

Giddey is in his second season playing for the Bulls after starting out his career with OKC.

He is currently averaging 17.7 points, 8.2 rebounds, 8.4 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 45.7% from the field and 37.4% from three-point range in 41 games.

While Giddey continues to play well, the Bulls have had a bad season

They come into play as the 12th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 25-37 record in 62 games.

On the road, the Bulls have gone 9-19 in the 28 games they have played away from Chicago.

Following the Suns, they will play their next game on Sunday when they visit Russell Westbrook and the Sacramento Kings.

A Look At Phoenix

The Suns are the seventh seed in the Western Conference with a 35-26 record in 61 games.

They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak.

Following the Bulls, the Suns will play their next game on Friday night when they remain at home to host the New Orleans Pelicans.
