
Jaden Ivey has appeared in four games for the Chicago Bulls this season (after getting traded via the Detroit Pistons).
The former Purdue star had been averaging 11.5 points, 4.8 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.0 steals per contest while shooting 41.7% from the field and 38.1% from three-point range.

On Monday, Ivey was waived by the Bulls.
ESPN’s Shams Charania wrote: “The Chicago Bulls are waiving guard Jaden Ivey after his recent anti-LGBTQ comments amid several rants on religion and other topics, sources tell ESPN.”

Ivey was the fifth pick in the 2022 NBA Draft.
Over part of four seasons with the Pistons and Bulls, he has career averages of 14.8 points, 3.5 rebounds and 4.0 assists per contest while shooting 43.0% from the field and 35.5% from three-point range in 218 games.
