Draymond Green Gets Roasted on The Roast of Kevin Hart

As part of The Roast of Kevin Hart, Draymond Green had to endure getting roasted by multiple celebrities and personalities like Tom Brady, The Rock and more.

Here are some of the roasts thrown at four-time NBA champ.

Kevin Hart: “Draymond’s only here because he’s not in the NBA Playoffs.”

The Rock: “Of all the cool-a** Black names you could have, that is the laziest f*cking Black name I’ve ever heard. Because all you did was put a D in front of Raymond. It’s f*cking r*tarded.”

Tom Brady: “Draymond Green is here. Draymond’s here, for now. He’ll probably get thrown out in the next 10 minutes.”

Jeff Ross: “Steph Curry couldn’t make it tonight, but he did carry Draymond Green all the way here.”

Pete Davidson: “Why do you look blacker than usual? Is it because you got burnt by the Suns?”

Shane Gillis: “Draymond Green is the first player to make four All-Star teams for just setting picks.”

Shane Gillis: “Draymond Green has four NBA championships the way Ringo Starr has 11 number one albums.”

Tony Hinchcliffe: “He has paid $4 Min fines. Did you name your daughter, Cash, because you plan on losing her anyway?”

Green laughed and took the roasts pretty well, though some fans joked they were afraid he would have lost his cool and became violent.

There were also plenty of famous people in the audience, like Jennifer Lopez, John Stamos, Machine Gun Kelly, Seth Green, Tracee Ellis Ross and Jay Shetty.

Draymond Green Issues Apology After Charles Barkley Comment

Before Sunday’s roasting, Draymond Green made headlines for having “beef” with Austin Rivers and Charles Barkley.

Rivers dropped the hammer on Green early last week, while the internet went off on the former Defensive Player of the Year for disrespecting Barkley. Green tried to roast Barkley for his time with the Houston Rockets.

However, it backfired after fans found out that Barkley’s worst season in Houston was better statistically than Green’s best year in the NBA.

Green has since apologized in an episode of his podcast.

“Everybody tried to make it like this whole, ‘Ah, man. Draymond think he better than Chuck,’” Green said. “The disrespect ain’t the intent. So if that’s the way it’s viewed as public disrespect, I can gladly publicly apologize. Disrespect wasn’t my intent.”

Green is set to have a big summer since he could opt out of his contract with the Golden State Warriors and become a free agent. He’s also eligible to sign an extension, especially after Steve Kerr returned as head coach.
