Not an edit, not a scandal – One OG Islander has officially been dumped thanks to the ultimate power of the viewers!

Two Love Island stars have been sent packing from the villa, but ITV viewers aren’t exactly sad to see them go.

The atmosphere was already electric last night (June 26) as two couples decided to part ways. Alima broke off her relationship with Remell, due to his racy antics with bombshell Poppy at the separate sleepover villa.

In another corner, Ben chose to “take a step back” from his romance with Yasmin, sparking an intense argument between them.

However, the excitement escalated when Iain Stirling declared that the public would be voting for their most-liked male and female islanders – those with the fewest votes faced the threat of eviction.

During Friday night’s episode (June 27), it came to light that Remell, Ben, and Harry had garnered the least support. Toni, Shakira, and Megan were also left hanging in the balance, reports OK!.

The six vulnerable contestants were asked to assemble by the firepit, while their fellow islanders disclosed the results. Remell was the first to be shown the door, securing Harry and Ben’s positions in the villa.

Although Remell’s departure didn’t stir much surprise, the elimination of one of the girls left everyone visibly astounded. Dublin beauty Megan was the next to exit, having received the lowest number of votes from the public.

While her villa mates were shocked by her departure, viewers did not share the same sentiment on X, previously known as Twitter.

“Good riddance […],” wrote one user. “MEGAN IS GONEEEE,” a second rejoiced.

Another ITV enthusiast expressed their satisfaction with the show’s recent events by remarking: “Toni and Shakira sending Megan home, that’s what I like to see.”

However, it wasn’t just Megan’s exit that stirred up feelings among viewers; many were also pleased to see Remell bid farewell to the reality programme.
