The Golden State Warriors were one of seven teams involved in a blockbuster trade recently finalized, headlined by former Warriors star Kevin Durant. As part of the deal, the Warriors acquired Jahmai Mashack and Alex Toohey on Sunday, though Mashack was later traded to the Memphis Grizzlies in a separate transaction. While the Warriors have been relatively quiet on the trade front since then, their star point guard, Stephen Curry, is making waves off the court with a bold new venture.
On Tuesday, Curry took to X to announce the expansion of his Curry Brand World tour, which will include the first-ever Curry Camp in Asia. “I’m incredibly excited for this year’s tour—not only to host Curry Camp in San Francisco but also to bring it to Asia for the first time,” Curry shared. “I’m looking forward to working with some of the best young athletes in the world at both Curry Camp experiences, teaming up with De’Aaron to connect with fans at the first-ever Curry Con, and immersing ourselves once again in the culture and history of the region.”

Under Armour, Curry’s longtime partner, provided further details on their website about the groundbreaking tour. The highlight is the introduction of Curry Con, a three-day brand culture convention in Chongqing, open to fans across Asia. “This dynamic 3-day fest will serve as a hub for innovation and fan engagement, fostering a vibrant community around the brand,” Under Armour stated. Attendees can expect interactive exhibits, the latest product innovations, sports sessions with athletes, and a deep dive into Curry Brand’s history, values, and vision for the future of sport.
Curry, a four-time NBA champion and, according to his father Dell, far from retirement, is coming off an impressive 2024-25 season. Despite a grade 1 calf strain in the postseason that halted his pursuit of a fifth championship ring, the 6-foot-3 guard remained a dynamic force in his 16th NBA season. The Davidson alum averaged 24.5 points, 6.0 assists, and 4.4 rebounds per game, shooting an efficient 44.8% from the field and 39.7% from three-point range.
As the Warriors prepare for the 2025-26 season, Curry’s off-season is shaping up to be a historic one. By taking Curry Brand global with the inaugural Curry Camp in Asia and the launch of Curry Con, the NBA superstar is not only elevating his brand but also inspiring the next generation of athletes worldwide.
