45.3% FG and 37.9% 3P – The Warriors just snagged a ‘cold-blooded killer’ – this former Wizards guard is about to set the NBA Summer League on fire!

The Golden State Warriors have signed Jules Bernard for NBA Summer League.

The Golden State Warriors have made a savvy move, signing 25-year-old sharpshooter Jules Bernard for the 2025 NBA Summer League. Bernard, a former Washington Wizards guard, brings a potent scoring punch and a knack for clutch performances that could make him a standout in Las Vegas.

A Proven Talent from UCLA to the NBA

A product of UCLA, Bernard showcased his skills in the NBA during the 2023-24 season with the Wizards. In 19 games, he averaged 3.9 points and 1.4 rebounds, shooting an impressive 45.3% from the field and 37.9% from beyond the arc. His efficiency from deep and ability to stretch the floor make him a perfect fit for the Warriors’ fast-paced, shooting-heavy system.

Dominating the G League

This past season, Bernard lit up the G League with the Cleveland Charge. Over 13 regular season games, including nine starts, he averaged 19.5 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 3.7 assists while shooting 44.4% from the field and 30.4% from three. His standout performance came on December 10, when he erupted for a career-high 33 points and 10 rebounds, shooting 14-of-22 from the field to lead the Charge to a victory over the G League’s top team. This kind of production signals that Bernard is ready to make waves in the Summer League.

A Chance to Shine in Las Vegas

The Warriors kick off their Summer League campaign on Saturday, July 12, 2025, against Bronny James and the Los Angeles Lakers at 6:30 PM ET on ESPN2. Bernard’s ability to score in bunches and his experience as a versatile guard could see him thrive in this high-energy environment. With his smooth shooting stroke and playmaking ability, he’s poised to turn heads and potentially earn a training camp invite from the Warriors or another NBA team.

Why Bernard Could Be a Game-Changer

At 25, Bernard is still young but brings a wealth of experience from both the NBA and G League. His shooting efficiency, combined with his ability to contribute on the boards and facilitate, makes him a versatile weapon. The Warriors, known for developing talent and maximizing shooters, could unlock Bernard’s full potential, turning him into a “cold-blooded killer” on the court.

As the NBA Summer League tips off, all eyes will be on Jules Bernard to see if he can translate his G League dominance into a breakout performance. If he does, the Warriors may have just found their next diamond in the rough.
