The Golden State Warriors have made a savvy move, signing 25-year-old sharpshooter Jules Bernard for the 2025 NBA Summer League. Bernard, a former Washington Wizards guard, brings a potent scoring punch and a knack for clutch performances that could make him a standout in Las Vegas.

A Proven Talent from UCLA to the NBA

A product of UCLA, Bernard showcased his skills in the NBA during the 2023-24 season with the Wizards. In 19 games, he averaged 3.9 points and 1.4 rebounds, shooting an impressive 45.3% from the field and 37.9% from beyond the arc. His efficiency from deep and ability to stretch the floor make him a perfect fit for the Warriors’ fast-paced, shooting-heavy system.

Dominating the G League

This past season, Bernard lit up the G League with the Cleveland Charge. Over 13 regular season games, including nine starts, he averaged 19.5 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 3.7 assists while shooting 44.4% from the field and 30.4% from three. His standout performance came on December 10, when he erupted for a career-high 33 points and 10 rebounds, shooting 14-of-22 from the field to lead the Charge to a victory over the G League’s top team. This kind of production signals that Bernard is ready to make waves in the Summer League.

The Warriors kick off their Summer League campaign on Saturday, July 12, 2025, against Bronny James and the Los Angeles Lakers at 6:30 PM ET on ESPN2.
