SHE’S Broken a Rib, HE’S Out Drinking & Spilling Secrets: Reality TV MAFS Scandal Sparks Outrage!

Drama is brewing on Married at First Sight UK, and the latest episode has fans buzzing with outrage over groom Steven’s shocking behavior. While his new wife, Nelly, was nursing a fractured rib from a painful accident, Steven chose to hit the town for a night out with the boys, leaving her to fend for herself. The betrayal didn’t stop there—Steven’s loose lips at the bar have sparked a firestorm among the cast, threatening to unravel their already shaky marriage.

In a jaw-dropping preview for tonight’s episode, bride Julia-Ruth pulls no punches as she spills the tea to her husband, Divarni. “We went out for drinks last night, and we had Steven with us,” she reveals, her tone laced with disapproval. “There are things I don’t agree with that were said.” Divarni, visibly concerned, responds, “It is quite concerning.”

Julia-Ruth doesn’t hold back, confessing to the cameras: “Steven should have been at home with Nelly, but instead he was at the bar bragging about his sex life before the experiment. That is just insane.” The revelation leaves her torn about whether to confront Steven at the upcoming dinner party. “Nelly has no idea, and I’m not 100% sure if I should bring it up,” she admits. “I’m struggling with that. I think tonight will be very telling once there’s a bit of heat on them, how strong that bond really is.”

The scandal deepens as fellow couple Rebecca and Bailey weigh in on Steven’s questionable priorities. “I don’t know what’s going on in that boy’s mind,” Rebecca says, shaking her head. “Nelly fell, fractured her rib, she was hurt, and he decided to stay out with the boys all night.” Bailey echoes her disbelief: “I just don’t really know where his head is at.”

Rebecca, who’s no stranger to stirring the pot after being accused of “ruining” the show, doesn’t mince words. “Both Bailey and I are really close with Nelly and Steven, but it feels really muggy,” she tells the cameras. “I feel he’s treating her the wrong way. My husband wouldn’t disrespect me in that way, and if he did, that would be it for me.”

This isn’t the first time Steven and Nelly’s marriage has hit rocky waters. In Wednesday’s episode, the couple clashed after Steven accused Nelly of airing their dirty laundry to the other couples. “It feels like you’re going behind my back and talking s**t,” he snapped, warning that sharing their relationship struggles would “blow up this situation more.” Nelly, visibly hurt, fired back: “You haven’t been the same since the honeymoon. That’s why I’ve needed more reassurance from you.”

The tension escalated when Steven confronted fellow groom Keye, who is married to Davide, after Nelly confided in him about her doubts. Keye stood his ground, telling Steven, “I’m going to pick her up—that’s what you do when someone feels low about themselves.” Steven, however, wasn’t having it. “My relationship is my relationship, and I don’t like people getting involved in business they shouldn’t be getting involved in,” he fumed to the cameras. “You are not part of this relationship, so see yourself out.”

As the second dinner party approaches, all eyes are on Steven and Nelly. Will Julia-Ruth expose Steven’s barroom confessions? Will Nelly confront her husband about his night out while she was in pain? And how will Steven react when the other couples call him out? The stage is set for an explosive showdown that could make or break their marriage.

Reflecting on the MAFS experience, former participant Jenna offered insight earlier this year: “We’re not legally married, and I never felt like we were. I definitely feel the process makes you take the relationship a lot more seriously, and having the help of the experts… if you can survive that process, it sets a firm foundation for a long-lasting relationship.” For Steven and Nelly, surviving the process is looking more challenging by the minute.
