The figures suggest the Claudia Winkelman hosted BBC murder mystery could top 125million for its nine-episode run.

Viewers will be desperate to learn tonight if if Kate Garraway will be slain by the Traitors.

The GMB host and comics Nick Mohammad and Lucy Beaumont face “murder” during a midnight game of chess.

They will meet the Traitors Jonathan Ross, Alan Carr and Cat Burns face-to-face to discover their fate.

The game sees a group of Faithfuls attempted to avoid being bumped off while rooting out the Traitors in their midst.

Stephen Fry, Tom Daley, Charlotte Church and Clare Balding are among the celebrities to leave the show so far.

Consolidated figures show 14.3million have now tuned in to the series’ launch, which 6.5million watched live on October 8.

The number of views for Episode two stands at 13.8million, while for three it is 13.4million and four it is 13.1million.

The figures are expected to balloon further before the official 28-day reports are released next month.

Series Three of the civilian version grew to 10million viewers – a statistic the celebrities have already smashed.

Insiders predict the star-studded run’s finale next Thursday could beat last year’s Gavin & Stacey Christmas special, which was watched by 12.3million live, growing to 19.1million across the following week.

It comes after The Sun revealed that Ross had been ticked off for accidentally leaking spoilers on his Reel Talk podcast.

Tonight’s show is on BBC One from 9pm.
