Five weeks in, thing are really starting to spice up in the Big Brother house; fiery feuds are forming, romances are blossoming, crushes are heating up – the housemates have well and truly chucked the rulebook out of the window and our opera glasses are raised.
Let’s be honest, though, with Celebrity Traitors, Drag Race UK, Made in Chelsea and MAFS all vying for our attention right now, Big Brother 2025 really had to turn up the heat.

And one of the fresh storylines really adding a little flavouring to the show right now is the warning Jenny Baird’s mum, Breege, gave her during that 100-second phone call (ICYMI, Jenny paid 30 eyes to get a phone call with her mum).
At the end of the emotional call, Breege delivered a stark warning to her daughter – do not trust Caroline Monk and Nancy Nocerino.

It makes sense, really; Caroline has been a human tornado in that house from day one and Jenny and Nancy had that altercation a few weeks ago, after Big Brother exposed Nancy talking about Jenny to her bestie Sam Ashby.
And given that Caroline and Nancy are also very tight, we can understand where Breege is coming from. But was it just a throwaway, protective comment, or was her warning a serious one?
Breege spoke to host Will Best on Monday night’s (27 October) Late & Live show over the phone and it’s safe to say, her warning was not an idle one – mum genuinely thinks her daughter is in danger, girl, and has a genuine reason for feeling the way she does…

Jenny’s mum told Will, ‘There’s nothing genuine about either one of them. You would need a bag of eyes to watch them. Caroline doesn’t come across as genuine when she’s talking to anyone. And Nancy, Nancy just doesn’t like Jenny, even though she’s pretending to. She does not like her.’
When asked whether Jenny will take her mum’s comments on board and now actively be wary of Caroline and Nancy, Breege responded, ‘Jenny will understand when I give her them names what I think she needs to understand. Caroline has taken Jenny and is talking to her and it’s more like an interview. And then, she’s coming out and telling everyone what Jenny’s saying.’

She concluded by saying, ‘Because of [Caroline’s] age, she’s manipulating Jenny.’
