IT’S HAPPENING! Warriors org greenlights SHOCKWAVE trade for a TOP 10 superstar this summer – League on HIGH ALERT!

The Golden State Warriors are done waiting. According to multiple league sources and fresh intel from NBA insider Marc Spears, the front office has quietly given the green light to pursue a blockbuster trade or free-agent signing for a top-10 superstar this offseason — and Stephen Curry is leading the charge from the sidelines.

With the 2025-26 season winding down and Curry still sidelined since late January, the two-time MVP has made one thing crystal clear to those closest to him: he wants one more championship run before he rides off into the sunset. And the Warriors’ brass is all-in on making it happen.

Spears dropped the bombshell on the Willard and Dibs radio show, revealing that Curry fully expects a massive addition next summer — names like LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo are not just wish-list daydreams anymore. They’re realistic targets.

“I think he knows whether it’s a Giannis, whether it’s a LeBron James, there’s going to be somebody next summer that’s going to join him, join Jimmy, join Draymond, assuming he’s still there,” Spears said.

The Warriors’ brand is still pure gold in the NBA marketplace. They don’t need max-salary cap gymnastics to make a splash — they can “quick fix” and absorb talent, especially if LeBron is willing to take a pay cut for one final title chase or if the Bucks finally pull the trigger on a Giannis trade after years of playoff frustration in Milwaukee.

League executives are already on high alert. Front offices across the NBA expect LeBron to opt out of his Lakers deal and test the market, while the Bucks are viewed as increasingly likely to move their two-time MVP to reset the roster. Golden State sits in pole position to pounce.

But Curry isn’t just thinking about the big-name splash — he’s also laser-focused on the here and now. Even while recovering, the 37-year-old superstar has been vocal about wanting to return this season and get his young core playoff minutes. Brandin Podziemski, Gui Santos, Moses Moody and the rest of the next generation are soaking up valuable experience that will pay dividends when the next superstar arrives.

“He wants to play this season. He wants to play in the postseason,” Spears added. “He mentioned to me that Jimmy Butler is not going to be there, but he obviously must like Podziemski, Gui, some of the other young guys on the team, Moody, if it’s important for him to get them playoff time.”

Translation: Curry is mentoring the future while simultaneously demanding the Warriors accelerate the present. He still believes in Draymond Green’s leadership and the culture that built four championships. The plan is clear — keep the veteran core intact where possible, develop the young talent on the fly, and drop a top-10 superstar into the mix to create a brand-new superteam.

General manager Mike Dunleavy Jr. is under the microscope like never before. The pressure is real. Curry has made it known he’s not interested in a slow rebuild — he wants to contend immediately. And with the Warriors’ legendary ability to attract talent (remember Kevin Durant?), the league is bracing for another seismic shift in the Western Conference power structure.

One more ring. One more superstar. One more dynasty chapter.

The NBA world is officially on notice.

It’s not a rumor anymore. It’s not a pipe dream.

It’s happening.

Golden State is loading up. Summer 2026 is about to get loud.
