Cameras Off, Fists Fly: Love Island USA Finale Ends in Explosive Cast Fight!

The Love Island USA Season 7 finale, which aired on Sunday, July 13, 2025, was billed as a night of romance and celebration, but behind the scenes, it descended into chaos. While Amaya Espinal, 25, and Bryan Arenales, 28, were crowned the winners, the real drama unfolded when the cameras stopped rolling, revealing raw tensions, heated arguments, and a cast on the brink of mutiny.

A Finale Packed with Fireworks—But Not the Fun Kind

As the glittering finale concluded with Amaya and Bryan’s victory, the on-screen smiles masked a brewing storm. According to an exclusive production source speaking to The U.S. Sun, the final days in the villa were anything but harmonious. “The final few days and the finale got into some kind of ‘fireworks,’ but not the fun ones in many ways,” the insider revealed. Contestants were reportedly “furious” over the results, with some openly declaring the outcome unfair and insisting they deserved the crown.

Backstage, tensions boiled over into heated arguments, forcing production to intervene to prevent all-out chaos. “Some couples were quite mad at the results and made it clear backstage, saying it was unfair and that they should have won the season,” the source shared. “There were big tensions backstage, some arguments, and we had to cool people down in order to keep going, as it was reaching an all-time high.”

Fan Favorites Left Reeling

Fan-favorite couple Olandria, 27, and Nic, 24, secured second place, while Huda, 24, and Chris, 27, took third, and Iris, 25, and Pepe, 27, rounded out the top four. However, the elimination of Ace Greene and Chelley Bissainthe just before the finale, on Friday’s episode, added fuel to the fire. The pair, considered one of the strongest couples in the villa, were blindsided by their exit after receiving the fewest votes from America.

An insider told The U.S. Sun that Ace and Chelley were “furious” and found their elimination “scandalous.” “They were fan-favorites all season and believed they should have been the ones kept until the end and chosen as winners,” the source said. “They were very angry, and we had to calm them down and remind them to respect the decision, as we had no control over the public vote.”

Huda and Chris: A Historic Breakup Steals the Show

The most jaw-dropping moment of the finale came from Huda Mustafa and Chris, who made Love Island USA history as the first couple to break up during the finale episode. Their tumultuous relationship had been a rollercoaster throughout the season, and their final clash was nothing short of explosive. A production source revealed to The U.S. Sun that the pair attempted to walk off the show after their split, but were forced to stay due to contractual obligations.

“They wanted to leave, but we had to force them to stay and attend the results no matter what,” the insider explained. “They have a contract—they can’t just do whatever they want and leave like that. We had to talk them into staying and tell them they didn’t have a choice.”

The argument erupted when Chris refused to cuddle with Huda, who counted to three in an attempt to prompt a response. “Chris got very tense and didn’t want to be taught a lesson,” the source said. “He didn’t like how Huda was trying to control and manage everything. He lost his mind a bit because emotions were sky-high.” Viewers watched as Chris stormed off, leaving Huda alone in a dramatic moment that stunned fans.

“Huda is a bit unpredictable, and we got into a very serious situation with Chris,” the source continued. “We didn’t expect a fight that bad to happen. We had to talk to them and try to figure out everything.”

A Finale Marred by Tension

A second production source described the Huda-Chris fallout as “bad for everyone,” lamenting that it cast a shadow over what was meant to be a celebratory end to the season. “Huda and Chris ruined part of the finale, and their attitudes were unacceptable and selfish,” the insider said. “They both wanted to leave before the results, and we had to remind them of their obligations because they signed a contract.”

Despite the drama, Amaya and Bryan emerged victorious, with Amaya sharing an optimistic message post-finale: “I can’t wait to continue taking steps forward together. And keep watering the seed we planted.” However, the lingering tension among the cast promises more fireworks at the upcoming reunion, set to air on Peacock on August 25, 2025.

A Season to Remember

The Love Island USA Season 7 finale delivered unforgettable moments, from Amaya and Bryan’s heartfelt win to the unprecedented breakup of Huda and Chris. Yet, it was the behind-the-scenes drama—full of fury, arguments, and defiance—that truly set the villa ablaze. As fans eagerly await the reunion, one thing is clear: when the cameras stop rolling, the real love (and chaos) of Love Island USA takes center stage.
