Despite his contributions to Boston’s 2024 NBA Championship, financial constraints may force the Celtics to move key players from their core lineup, which includes Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Kristaps Porzingis, Derrick White, and Holiday. Holiday’s $32.4 million salary for the upcoming season makes him a prime candidate for trade discussions, particularly due to his age.
Drafted by the 76ers in 2009, Holiday played four seasons in Philadelphia before being traded in 2013.
