He suggested that a trade could involve San Antonio’s likely No. 2 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, Rutgers standout Dylan Harper, along with additional pieces and future draft capital. “The team I’d watch the closest with Jaylen Brown is probably the Spurs,” Mannix said. “Sure, I think the Spurs would love to make a run at Giannis, but do the Bucks ask for Stephon Castle? You’re not going to get Castle in a potential Brown deal—you would get the number two pick back, some pieces, and future capital in return.”
Harper, a highly touted prospect, is considered a potential No. 1 pick in weaker draft classes, drawing comparisons to Cade Cunningham for his exceptional blend of playmaking and scoring ability.
