David Beckham joins hands with UAE billionaire to take over Manchester United?
Football legend David Beckham has reportedly been approached by a major UAE-based conglomerate to join their plan to acquire Manchester United from the Glazer family — potentially as an ambassador or even a co-owner of the club.
This move could mark a significant turning point at Old Trafford’s top level, as rumors grow stronger that the Glazers may be ready to sell their controlling stake.

According to British media, the UAE investment group wants Beckham, now 50, to act as the official ambassador for the bid, while also giving him the opportunity to invest and own shares in Manchester United.
The choice of Beckham is no coincidence: he is not only an eternal icon of Manchester United but also publicly criticized the Glazer ownership in 2023 and expressed a desire to be involved with the club in the future.
This development comes as INEOS, led by billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe, currently holds nearly 29% of the club’s shares and oversees football operations, while the majority stake remains with the Glazer family — meaning any full takeover bid must target that majority holding.
The potential deal once again reflects deep frustration among fans toward the Glazer era, which has seen numerous protests. Although the club has announced plans for a new stadium, on-pitch performances remain disappointing — fueling growing calls for a complete leadership overhaul at Manchester United.
