Dr. Nicole Martin, a former star of The Real Housewives of Miami (RHOM), recently dropped a bombshell on her “Scrubs to Stilettos” podcast, hinting at a potential return to the Bravo hit—but only if her bold demand for a “cast shakeup” is met. With her daughter Genevieve now older, Nicole is reconsidering her exit from the show, which she left before filming the latest season due to postpartum anxiety. However, she didn’t hold back her sharp critique of certain castmates, slamming them as “not good people” who chase drama for TV clout at any cost.

Nicole’s departure from RHOM came when Genevieve was just five months old, a time when the pressures of filming exacerbated her postpartum anxiety. Reflecting on her experience, she admitted that the show wasn’t all bad. “As stressful as it was, there were a lot of positives to filming,” she shared. “It pushed me out of my comfort zone, made me more confident, and taught me about setting boundaries. I even resolved issues with my dad through the process. Plus, it gave me a platform to launch my skincare line and grow my social media.” She expressed gratitude to the Bravo team, particularly praising Andy Cohen for his kindness, saying, “The Bravo universe treated me very well. Andy was always a gem.”
But when it comes to returning, Nicole isn’t signing on without conditions. “I say never say never,” she teased, noting that with Genevieve now older, the anxiety that once held her back has eased. However, she’s demanding a major cast overhaul before she’d consider stepping back into the Miami spotlight. “There’s people that I think are just not good people,” she stated bluntly. “They’re looking for an aha TV moment and will stop at nothing to get it. I don’t feel safe filming with them because they’re liabilities.”
Nicole didn’t mince words about the current state of RHOM, mocking castmates for what she sees as performative drama. “Viewers like the arguing, the fighting, the drama—it’s entertaining and engaging,” she acknowledged. “But nobody wants to see women thriving, going to work, and juggling all these things.” Her comments suggest a frustration with cast members she believes prioritize over-the-top antics to boost ratings over authenticity.
While RHOM’s future remains uncertain for Nicole, she’s open to other reality TV ventures that align with her passions. “I think I would do reality TV again,” she revealed. “Something like Traitors with its mental challenges would be super fun. I love the challenge aspect. I’d also do a cooking show—I love being in the kitchen—or even Dancing with the Stars, since I was a former cheerleader.”
For now, Nicole’s potential return to RHOM hinges on Bravo addressing her call for a cast revamp. Will the network shake things up to bring her back, or will the drama-hungry cast she’s called out continue to dominate? Fans will be watching closely to see how this ultimatum plays out.
