ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! – ‘I’m A Celebrity’ Fanbase Erupts, Demands LESS AIRTIME for ‘Annoying’ Duo Aitch and AngryGinge!

AngryGinge and Aitch proved that they were popular with the I’m A Celebrity viewers after being voted for a number of Bushtucker Trials on the ITV show – but are they losing momentum?

The pair were put up against each other as rivals, were made camp leaders and have taken on their fair share of challenges in this year’s series.

This seemed to forge them into huge fan favourites over the past three weeks, so much so that Twitch streamer Ginge, real name Morgan Burtwistle, 24, was well on his way to being crowned King of the jungle.

However, now it appears that some fans have ‘turned’ on the pair and have slammed ITV for giving them ‘too much air time’.

One took to Reddit to share their frustration, saying: ‘Early on I liked them and seeing the pair together, but now both of them I find so irritating as Ginge seems to always complain and moan about doing the washing up acting up.

‘And Aitch, while I also don’t outright despise, he still gets on my nerves.’

This inspired others to take to the comments section to share their thoughts, with many agreeing with the post.

‘It’s the Aitch and Ginge show and it seems like the rest are boring but what’s actually happening is the same thing that happens every year.

‘They’re giving campmates they suspect will get loads of votes a more favourable edit.

‘Let’s be super real, take them out and give everyone else a better edit and you’d still have an entertaining show.’

‘They do highlight certain campmates every year.’

‘Nah, those two are just getting the most airtime. I’m sure others are being entertaining and we just aren’t seeing it.’

‘I do think if they left then maybe the quieter people would get a chance to come out of their shells, but there’s always a chance that wouldn’t happen. If I was there I think having 4 very loud, talkative people in ginge, aitch, kelly and ruby all at the same time would be really annoying.’

However some others rushed to defend the pair.

‘Let’s be real, take those two out (especially at this stage), what do we have? A pretty dull show.’

‘You don’t need more screentime to see if someone is funny. The only funny ones this year were Ruby, Ginge, Aitch, Lisa and Tom. Everyone there bar Tom has their best moments when with Ginge or Aitch. Therefore taking them outta the show would make it considerably less entertaining.’

‘Someone moaning about washing up is hardly an extreme opinion is it? It’s also about 1% of his personality and everything else he’s done (been entertaining, funny, vulnerable, supportive etc etc).’

It comes after bookies recalibrated their favourite to win the show.

Ginge, who has been a fan favourite to win the show since the start, has now been taken over by Aitch, with the Manchester rapper sitting at 7/4.

Betting company Ladbrokes has revealed that Ginge still sits in second place at 15/8.

In recent weeks, Ginge and Aitch, real name Harrison James Armstrong, have been involved in a fair bit of drama.

Most recently Ginge shared his frustration over the pair’s washing up duties, and Ginge and model Kelly Brook, 46, clashed over the campmates choosing to eat their breakfast rice rations out of their mugs.

Prior to that, the pair were involved in ‘milk gate’ alongside Kelly.

After taking part in a Dingo Dollar Challenge, the trio won milk bottle sweets for camp, but ended up secretly eating some of them without the others knowing.

When Kelly was voted out of the show earlier this week, she dropped the bombshell confessing what they had done, and the boys tried to cover it up.

And the boys tried to carry on the lie afterwards, with Aitch confessing that he thinks they got away with it.

Earlier on in the series, Aitch was given plenty of airtime when fans spotted a potential romance with EastEnders star Shona McGarty, 34 – but the pair have since failed to hit it off.
