Married At First Sight UK star Steven Springett was exposed by wife Nelly Patel’s friend for secretly using a dating app on Sunday night’s episode.
The latest episode of the E4 show, which followed each pair heading back home for homestay week, saw Nelly, 30, and Steven, 34, clash heads once again over his approach to their relationship.
Nelly’s pal Lucy came around to the flat to have a chat with the couple about what she had found on a dating app.
Speaking to camera, she said: ‘I have been doing a bit of digging on Steven and I have in fact got some information that I am going to have to drop to Nelly.’
She went on to ask Steven what marriage meant to her, to which he said: ‘The epitome of love.’
Lucy continued: ‘So if you’re married do you think it’s appropriate to be on a dating website?’

An angry Steven asked: ‘What dating website?’
‘I think you know,’ Lucy replied.
Steven replied: ‘No we don’t know because I can get my phone out now and show you.’
Lucy said: ‘I can get mine out now out too…’
Steven asked: ‘So you think I’m on…? No I’m not on anything.’
Lucy then proceeded to show Nelly his profile from earlier that day.
‘Is that what you had to go and clear your head about?’ Nelly asked him.
‘That’s not me, doll,’ Steven said.

After seeing his Hinge profile, Nelly said: ‘Is that what you had to go and clear your head about?’

‘That’s not me, doll,’ Steven fumed as Nelly asked about his profile
Nelly then took her wedding ring off and said: ‘I think this marriage is over, I don’t deserve that.’
Lucy fumed: ‘Why are you still on your phone? Nelly is speaking to you and you’re not even looking at her. Why do you have no respect for her?’
Nelly asked when he went back on the app and he wouldn’t respond.
He then showed his Hinge app saying that it had been removed, and he couldn’t sign into it.
Talking to the camera, Nelly said: ‘Steven being on this dating app while we are still married is cheating.
‘That’s a guilty man. This marriage is well and truly over.
‘I want nothing to do with Steven anymore.’
Last month Steven defiantly hit back after being branded ‘disrespectful, misogynistic and abusive’ by livid viewers.
The couple had clashed for a number of reasons after Steven decided to take ‘step back’ from things after a perfect honeymoon, which Nelly caught on to.
And things were made worse when she broke her rib, and he decided to stay out with the boys, where he was heard bragging about his sex life before the experiment.
When he was confronted about it, he stormed out of the dinner party and called his co-stars a ‘c***’, as well as showing an ‘aggressive’ side towards Nelly while arguing.

There has been plenty of drama in the brand new series, including many ups and downs with finance manager Steven, 34, and dentist Nelly Patel, 30 (pictured)

Steven and Nelly tied the knot just moments after meeting down the aisle as part of this year’s series of MAFS UK
One fan branded his behaviour ‘unacceptable’ and told Steven: ‘I’m guessing you’re not aware of how the public now, quite rightly, views you because it’s embarrassingly obvious that these comments have all been selected for being on your side and the negative have been deleted.
‘Your behaviour and language is edited whichever way you want – disrespectful, misogynistic and abusive. It doesn’t matter how it’s cut, you said those words no one else.
‘Completely unacceptable and I really hope that watching the show allows you to reflect on why you’ve been unsuccessful in relationships in the past because your pattern of behaviour is dangerous if you take no accountability.
Steven simply replied: ‘Thank you Pamela. Absolutely adore this glowing review of me from yourself.
‘For taking time out of your busy evening to comment here, I do truly appreciate. Have an amazing evening.’
The fan’s comment came after Steven wrote on Instagram: ‘Watching yourself act like the only c*word in the room.
‘I can only apologise wholeheartedly for my outbursts this week of filming. Toughest time for me during filming and emotions were running extremely high.
‘The conversation ran deeper BTS with Nelly and I that week so tune in on Sunday to see where we head from here.

‘Also shout out to Leah, Leigh (both always said it how it is) Bailey (for being that mate who checks in regularly) and Julia-Ruth for calling out bad behaviour on the night.’
One fan took to Reddit to discuss the matter and wrote: ‘Steven can’t even keep up the facade for one Insta post…’
Another said: ‘Scary what he might like behind actual closed doors though, given how he acts on camera though.’
‘I accept that there may be a “villain edit” for any cast member, but I don’t understand how this can be used as a blanket excuse for any/all behaviour.’
‘The best thing anyone can do is stop interacting with this man, he wants fame so bad so let him fade away into obscurity and no one remembers him, it will annoy him more than more interactions on his profile.’
It comes after last week Steven fumed ‘I couldn’t give a flying f***!’ as his co-star Keye Luke, 33, skewered him for complimenting his wife’s breasts in a toe-curling showdown.
The boys took themselves away from the group to discuss their feelings after Keye made a comment about Nelly.
Steven told Keye: ‘Last night I got frustrated with you… with everything going on with Nelly and I, the distance and stuff.
‘I just wanted people to basically just f*** off.
‘Keye, you brought her over to me and said comment on her outfit, her breasts.
‘That wound me up because I don’t want anyone to get involved, just leave me alone.’
Keye, who tied the knot with cabin crew attendant Davide, 33, replied: ‘I’m still confused as to what I’ve done…
‘Nelly had said she’s feeling down, she didn’t feel very cute about herself so I bigged her up to make her feel like she was cute.
‘I then walked her in, gave her a spin and said “Look at how amazing your wife looks!”‘
Keye tells him: ‘I’m not having it sold that I was trying to come between you and your relationship.
‘I’m not. Couldn’t give a flying f*** if I’m completely honest. I’m here for my relationship.
‘I was being supportive, the same way I would support absolutely anyone. That’s who I am, I am a cheerleader. I’m a positive person. It’s what I do.’
