In Sunday night’s nail-biting episode, hosts Ant and Dec dropped the bombshell: the bottom two campmates facing the chop were model Vogue Williams and comedian Eddie Kadi. The tension was palpable as the duo revealed that Eddie, the fan-favorite funnyman, had received the fewest votes and was heading for the exit. Cue the collective gasp from viewers at home—many of whom are convinced this was a massive miscarriage of jungle justice, with Vogue somehow dodging the bullet despite calls for her to go.

Social media erupted in a storm of disbelief and fury. “So shocked about Eddie leaving, I thought he’d stay for longer,” one devastated fan tweeted. Another simply wailed, “EDDIE??????? HOW?” The sentiment echoed far and wide: “Eddie deserved to stay more time and not Kelly or Vogue,” fumed a third, while a fourth declared, “Wtf!! Eddie definitely doesn’t deserve to go before SEVERAL of the other campmates!!” And straight to the point: “It should’ve been Vogue over Eddie, I can’t believe it.” It’s clear—the public is fuming that Eddie got the boot while others, like Vogue, are “still hanging on” way past their welcome, according to the masses.

Fresh from crossing the iconic bridge, Eddie sat down with Ant and Dec for a heartfelt debrief, reflecting on his whirlwind jungle stint. “I feel like I’ve been in there for a year. It’s literally changed my life,” he confessed. Drawing a poignant connection to his roots, the comedian shared, “Coming from Congo—and we have a massive rainforest that I’ve never visited—I feel like I’ve had a taste of how my great grandparents and my grandparents would’ve grown up. It explains why they were so humble, and how they handled the bare minimum. They made the best out of life and were joyful in any situation. Things will never be the same now.”

Eddie didn’t hold back on his campmates either, dishing out laughs amid the emotion. “There were moments where you’d just look at Ruby and think, ‘you are ridiculous.’ Did you see how Ruby handled those snakes? It was ridiculous,” he chuckled. Recalling his adrenaline-pumping entrance, Eddie called the skydiving twist “cruel.” “I saw you two, and I thought we were landing on the star. And then the announcement was made that we were skydiving—inside I said to myself ‘get me out of here,'” he admitted to the hosts.

The star also gushed about his unbreakable bonds in camp, particularly with Jack Osbourne and rapper Aitch. “I met Aitch before—I interviewed him at the MOBO Awards for about three seconds. But I must say, the people who put us together, they must’ve had an epiphany because how we managed to bond with so many different characters.” On the sneaky contraband saga—from Shona’s butter to Alex Scott’s salt—Eddie speculated there might be more hidden gems. “I think there’s more in there, because how did the butter get in there? Everyone is saying maybe Alex, but honestly I believe Ruby Wax has got some stuff hidden. She’s probably got her cats hidden,” he joked.

Wrapping up, Eddie threw his support behind one campmate to take the crown: “Jack Osbourne should win the show.”

This eviction follows Eddie’s raw confession earlier in the series, where he opened up about his unexpected path to comedy. Chatting with Kelly, Aitch, and Ruby, he revealed it was “never planned,” as his dad had visions of him becoming a doctor or lawyer. “My dad’s thing was just be as smart as you can, go to university…” Eddie explained. When Ruby asked about his dad’s origins, he replied, “Congo. Looking for a better life and better opportunities to be fair. But it was always that idea of like, be a lawyer or an accountant—with Africans that’s like, engineer, you know? Make us proud and so on.” He even shared a sweet anecdote: “Growing up, I used to do the paper round and my dad was too proud to call it a paper round, so he said ‘my son is a news reporter.’”

Eddie’s exit comes hot on the heels of the first eviction, where footballer Alex Scott became the inaugural casualty of the 2025 series. After surviving 14 grueling days, the ex-England Lioness bid farewell to her 11 campmates and crossed the bridge to reunite with a friend—while girlfriend Jess Glynne waited back home. Alex dove headfirst into every trial, but upon hearing she was out, she exclaimed, “Oh my days. It’s like being free.” In her chat with Ant and Dec, she added, “It feels strange, it doesn’t feel real. It’s been such an incredible experience—mentally it’s so tough and I did struggle at times missing home. But I’m so glad I got to do this series with such a great bunch of campmates.”

With tensions rising and fans in uproar, the jungle is heating up—who’ll be next to face the wrath of the vote? One thing’s for sure: this series is delivering chaos, heartbreak, and non-stop drama. Stay tuned!
