It’s the Twist No One Saw Coming: Iconic Traitors Alliance Returns for Project That Will Break the Internet!

A new The Traitors project has been revealed – with fans able to get involved. As we await the arrival of Celebrity Traitors this autumn, it has been announced that there is a new “iconic” project on its way.

Introducing the exciting puzzle book, which viewers can enjoy until the new series arrives, creators said: “Welcome to The Traitors – where nothing is as it seems … Based on the global TV phenomenon The Traitors, this thrilling search-and-find adventure invites you to uncover hidden clues and expose the cloaked betrayers lurking in plain sight.

“Perfect for fans of The Traitors TV show and puzzle lovers alike, this immersive book will test your observatonal skills and challenge your inner detective.”

The puzzle book features iconic settings as well as tricky searches in a Where’s Wally style format. For fans of the show, they have also teased a Traitor-like twist suitable for all.

The Traitors is back on the BBC next month with a celebrity version, hosted by Claudia Winkleman. Alan Carr, Cat Burns, Celia Imrie, Charlotte Church, Clare Balding, David Olusoga, Joe Marler, Joe Wilkinson, Jonathan Ross, Kate Garraway, Lucy Beaumont, Mark Bonnar, Nick Mohammed, Niko Omilana, Paloma Faith, Ruth Codd, Stephen Fry, Tameka Empson and Tom Daley will all take part in the new series, where they will compete to win up to £100,000 for a charity of their choice.

Speaking about the success of The Traitors, Claudia said earlier this year: “We didn’t foresee this. We went to Scotland with the amazing people who make it and a pair of red fingerless gloves and gave it our best shot. I think people like it because the psychology is extraordinary – just watching people work out whether they’re being lied to. The dynamics feel addictive. I’m completely obsessed.

“I don’t think there’s a formula [to win]. I wish there were. Although, actually, I’m really pleased there isn’t, because then people would know how to win. I do think the power of persuasion is everything. I also think you have to have a lot of empathy.”

Claudia also insisted she doesn’t like the idea that anyone who’s a Traitor is “bad”.

“I don’t like the narrative that Faithfuls are good and Traitors are bad. I wouldn’t make anyone a Traitor who didn’t ask to be one. That would be unfair. The Traitors are just as lovely, and that’s what for me makes it so compelling. I really want the Faithfuls to find one, and I also really want the Traitors to get away with it,” she explained.
