A Love Is Blind UK contestant tore up his wedding vows during a shocking moment on his big day.
Wigan-born Kal and his partner Sarover swiftly became audience favourites after forging a bond in the pods earlier this month. Nevertheless, doubts emerged when Kal confessed that Sarover didn’t match his typical preferences.
Last week witnessed viewers speculating about the couple’s future based on their meetings with each other’s relatives as wedding preparations commenced. Today (August 27) has witnessed the final two episodes of this series arrive on Netflix, showing the couples reaching their wedding day.

Sarover was raised in a contemporary Indian household and has never experienced a serious romance or dated beyond her ethnic background previously. For Kal, his father is Pakistani whilst his mother is English, coming from an extensive, tight-knit family unit, reports the Mirror.
Viewers witnessed worries expressed by Kal’s relatives, with his sibling having posed a harsh question earlier. Nevertheless, despite their contrasting origins and family apprehensions, the duo stayed committed and seemed content during wedding arrangements.
However, in the most recent episodes, one shocking wedding day incident left guests “stop breathing”. When Kal’s turn came to share his vows, his behaviour briefly alarmed Sarover as he tore up his prepared words.
He explained: “It’s all up here.” Sarover responded: “Oh my God, I was like, wait what? After I just did that (her vows).”
In his vows, Kal expressed: “I want to do these vows in the same way I spoke to you the first time I saw you. Hands held, eyes locked. Before entering this experiment, I had written down all the qualities I wanted in my future wife.

“Kind, cute, caring, thoughtful, fun, beautiful. You are all those things and so much more. Sarover, my posh pod princess, I love you.”
When it was time to decide whether they wished to continue their marriage and take their relationship further, Sarover didn’t hesitate as she declared ‘I do’. When asked if he would accept Sarover as his wife, Kal’s mum could be heard whispering a simple plea to her son: “Say yes”.
Kal also affirmed “I do”, causing his mum to exclaim: “I stopped breathing then.”
What lies ahead for Sarover and Kal? Viewers will have to tune into the reunion, which is set to air on Netflix on Sunday, August 31, at 9pm.
