Married at First Sight favourite Keye Luke has been flooded with messages of support following a deeply personal revelation about his mental health struggles.
The London-based groom wed Davide Anica at the start of the matchmaking programme, quickly establishing themselves as one of the series’ most solid pairings.
Whilst Keye has displayed an upbeat demeanour throughout the E4 experiment, the television personality has now disclosed that he attempted to take his own life just 12 months ago.
Sharing an Instagram reel on 20 October, he began: “One year ago today, I didn’t think I’d still be here. One year ago today, I tried to end my life. I didn’t think I’d laugh again, love again, or ever feel like me again.”

The 33-year-old continued by describing how the past year has brought unexpected joy, having discovered love and kinship amongst “the most beautiful collection of human beings”, reports OK!.
Most significantly, Keye voiced his gratitude for developing into a person he could never have imagined becoming during his darkest moments.
The reality television star then urged anyone facing similar mental health challenges to “hold on”.
The frank video appeared alongside an equally honest caption.
Keye penned: “This has to be one of the hardest things I’ve ever said out loud. A year ago today, I didn’t think I’d still be here, and saying that out loud feels surreal.
“It’s not easy to talk about, but I want to. Because someone out there might need to hear it. You’re not alone, even when it feels impossible. There’s always help, and there’s always hope, even if it doesn’t feel that way right now.

“You matter. You are loved. And the world is better with you in it,” Keye concluded.
Support quickly flooded in for the Londoner, with one fan commenting: “How brave. Yr amazing. Thank you for sharing! ! I needed to hear this!!!”
Meanwhile, someone else said: “So brave talking and opening up about this well done,” and a third follower penned: “Thank you for sharing your story Keye, I’m so glad you’re still with us.”
