A Married at First Sight groom shows off his extraordinary skills in a resurfaced social media video.
Latecomer Leo, 31, entered the matchmaking programme as an intruder groom and married business owner April, also 31. The pair were matched by E4’s reliable panel of experts Paul C. Brunson, Charlene Douglas and Mel Schilling.
Before walking down the aisle, Leo disclosed he gained the nickname Hot Dogg Sanchez after participating in the world hotdog-eating championship. The Chichester local then revealed details about his adventurous history.
“I am the undisputed Australian world cheese-rolling champion,” he began, before continuing: “I like to do fire juggling, nunchucks. I’ve worked on farms, worked as a cocktail bartender, worked in a steel factory,” reports OK!
Leo went on: “I broke my back skiing when I was 19. Moving to Australia when I was 18. Got chased by kangaroos, got chased by a wombat.”
Overall, the groom portrays himself as a “rocker and a punk” but equally a “nerd”. And he certainly channels a rock star’s energy in a clip uploaded four years ago.
Posting on Instagram in 2021, Leo uploaded footage of himself twirling fire with nunchucks – and he makes it look effortless. It comes with the caption “Like Bruce Lee… but with,” followed by fire emojis.
Whilst the emerging reality star hasn’t dazzled viewers with his numerous abilities, his match immediately captivated audiences.

Leo and April’s nuptials were the final ones on MAFS, leaving viewers swooning over their apparent compatibility.
