Married at First Sight UK’s Leigh Harris has opened up about her personal struggles in a heart-wrenching confession.
The reality TV star was initially matched with Leah Tyrer on the show, but they decided to part ways during the final vows.
Despite exiting the show solo, Leigh has been posting cheerful updates on social media, often featuring 2025 groom Davide Anica. However, she recently took to TikTok to reveal the truth about her off-screen life.
“I know that my social media can be quite deceiving from what I’ve posted recently and you might think that everything’s great and everything’s fine,” she confessed in a new video.
“But in reality, I’m still dealing with a lot, I’m processing quite a lot. I’m anxious, I’m not feeling my best. I’m going through a fair bit in my personal life.”
Leigh shared a video from her car, where she had to pull over due to being overwhelmed by emotions, reports OK!.
In a voiceover, she continued: “I just thought it was important to share that so that people can see that it doesn’t matter what you post on social media.
“It doesn’t matter how happy you look in a picture. Real life gets in the way and we are all going through it and we are all the same.”
Leigh wrapped up by saying: “I just think it’s important to say that ‘It’s okay to have days where you feel okay and you pick yourself up.’
“And then it’s also okay to have days where you fall apart and you’re not feeling your best. And you have to use everything in you to try and keep going.”
The bride further elaborated in the video’s caption, saying: “I’ve learnt over the years that even if you feel like you have the world on your shoulders, life doesn’t have to stop.”
She continued to share that she had experienced a “wave of sadness/anxiety/frustration” while driving to do her shopping but managed to “breathe it out and carry on”.
Her close mate Davide was quick to respond, writing: “I’m so proud of you my love.”
Following the show’s dramatic reunion episode, Leigh’s ex Leah has disclosed that she is currently seeing professional footballer Maz Pacheco.
Maz, who plays defence for Everton, has been acquainted with the MAFS bride for 13 years, but their romance only ignited after Leah’s departure from the show.
