UNBELIEVABLE NUMBERS: Kevin Durant reveals the massive amount he was paid to star in a commercial mocking his own legs — KD ANTIS WILL BE FURIOUS OVER THIS NEWS

Kevin Durant just turned one of the most enduring memes in NBA history into a massive payday—and he’s owning it with zero shame.

CeraVe cleverly leaned into KD’s legendary “crusty/ashy skin” reputation—sparked years ago by that viral ankle photo—and made him the “New Face of Legs” in their 30-second spot. The ad features Durant moisturizing his comically elongated legs, and it’s gone mega-viral, with fans flooding socials with laughs.

In a recent fan interaction (likely live or DM), Durant casually dropped the bag he got: “They gave me a couple million for an hour, two hours, to do that s–t. What am I saying, no? Two hours of work.” Translation: a couple million dollars for 1-2 hours of filming. With his 2025-26 Houston Rockets salary hovering around $54.7-55 million (~$668K per game over 82), that’s roughly three games’ worth of pay without breaking a sweat.

KD’s been famously sensitive to online criticism (burner accounts, unfollows, etc.), but here he embraced the meme, flipped it, and cashed in. Smart business move: CeraVe gets massive exposure, Durant gets paid handsomely, and the internet gets endless content.

Fans are loving it: “From ashy ankles to millionaire legs,” “KD turned the troll into a check,” “CeraVe just fixed his skin and his bank account.”

This isn’t KD’s first big endorsement bag (Nike, Google, Post Malone collabs, etc.), but the CeraVe deal stands out for weaponizing his own meme into millions.

What do you think, NBA fans? Genius self-aware move or selling out the meme? Worth a couple mil for two hours of lotion?
