The drama from Love Island doesn’t end when the cameras stop rolling, and this time, it’s a now-deleted TikTok video that’s stirred up a storm. Shakira Khan’s mother, Sukina, has taken to TikTok Live to unleash her fury at the “disrespectful” behavior of Harry Cooksley’s football friends from Farnham Town FC, whose comments about her daughter have sparked outrage among fans.
As Shakira and Harry navigated their rollercoaster romance in the Love Island villa, Harry’s mates on the outside were far from subtle. In a now-scrubbed TikTok clip, members of Farnham Town FC didn’t hold back, slamming Shakira as “so serious it’s painful” while boldly claiming that Harry was “way more suited” to fellow islander Helena Ford. But it didn’t stop there—their remarks took a nastier turn, throwing shade at both women in a way that left viewers fuming.
Sukina, who’s been vocal about her daughter’s journey on social media throughout the season, wasn’t about to let this slide. Joining a TikTok Live with three others, she let rip with a fiery takedown of Harry’s inner circle. “The people that do surround Harry, they have not painted themselves in the best light,” she declared, her frustration palpable. “I feel like they have absolutely zero respect for my daughter, I’m just going to say it how it is.”
Promising to take the matter further, Sukina added, “It’s something that I will be speaking to people about in private, but yeah, it will be addressed.” Her bold stance has rallied fans, who’ve praised her for standing up for Shakira in the face of such “tasteless” comments.
Despite the off-screen drama, Shakira and Harry seem to be savoring their time together post-villa. The Love Island runners-up recently spilled the tea on the Love Island: The Morning After podcast with hosts Amy Hart and Indiyah Polack. When asked what he was most excited about after leaving the villa, Harry didn’t hesitate: “I want a pie in Burnley and eat it on the sofa.” True to his word, the couple made it happen, with Harry sharing an adorable Instagram snap of them enjoying their pies, captioned, “Got our pie date.”
Fans couldn’t get enough of the wholesome moment, with one gushing, “That’s my baby, she’s iconic, haffners pie, with mushy peas on ittttt.” Even finalist Yasmin Pettet chimed in, commenting, “you guys,” with heart-eyes for the loved-up duo.
