Cam Schlittler Drops Mic on Boston with Vicious ‘F–k Boston’ Roar, Sending Knicks Fans Into Frenzy

New York Yankees’ rising star Cam Schlittler has officially cemented his status as a New Yorker, embracing the city’s fierce sports culture with a bold statement that set social media ablaze. The 24-year-old right-hander, a native of Walpole, Massachusetts, a suburb of Boston, was spotted outside Madison Square Garden (MSG) on Wednesday night, soaking in the Knicks’ thrilling 119-111 season-opening victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers alongside teammates Aaron Judge and Devin Williams. But it was his interaction with a fan that stole the show and ignited the passions of New York sports fans.

As Schlittler signed an autograph for a fan from his car outside MSG, the fan shouted, “F–k Boston!” The pitcher didn’t hesitate, responding with an enthusiastic, “Yeah, f–k Boston!” The exchange, captured on video by the fan’s friend, quickly went viral, spreading like wildfire across social media platforms and earning Schlittler cheers from Yankees and Knicks fans alike.

The moment was particularly poignant given Schlittler’s Boston roots. His ties to the area became a storyline during the Yankees’ wild-card showdown against the Boston Red Sox, where the young pitcher delivered a standout performance. In Game 3 of the series, Schlittler dominated, throwing eight brilliant innings and striking out 12 Red Sox batters to secure a 4-0 victory, propelling the Yankees to the American League Division Series (ALDS). The win was a defining moment for Schlittler, who admitted to The Post’s Jon Heyman that he was fueled by the taunts directed at his family, particularly his mother, from “unhinged” Red Sox fans online.

“I’m sure that they’re upset,” Schlittler said of Boston fans after the game. “I hope they are.” He added that the attacks felt personal, noting, “I think if it was a different fan base coming at them, I’d probably be a little bit more OK with it. I think it just being Boston was a little bit more disappointing.”

Despite the Yankees’ eventual elimination in the ALDS by the Toronto Blue Jays in four games, Schlittler emerged as one of the team’s brightest spots. His strong outing in Game 4, though not enough to prevent the season-ending loss, further solidified his place in Yankees postseason lore. Now, as he basks in the glow of his newfound fame, Schlittler is embracing the perks of being a New York sports star. His appearance at the Knicks’ game, coupled with his fiery anti-Boston sentiment, has endeared him to the city’s passionate fanbase.

Schlittler’s “F–k Boston” moment outside MSG wasn’t just a jab at his hometown—it was a mic-drop declaration of his allegiance to New York. As the video continues to circulate, it’s clear that Schlittler has won over the hearts of Yankees and Knicks fans, who are relishing the chance to welcome a new hero into the fold. With his arm and his attitude, Cam Schlittler is proving he’s ready to carry the torch for New York sports.
