According to TEAMtalk, although MU rejected a huge offer from Saudi Arabia in the last transfer window, midfielder Bruno Fernandes could still leave in the summer of 2026 if he feels he needs a new challenge.

Bayern Munich is considered one of the more feasible destinations than Saudi Arabia, if Bruno is determined to leave Old Trafford. At this time, the “Red Devils” are also considering letting the Portuguese international leave for a fee of about 40 million pounds.

According to TEAMtalk, coach Vincent Kompany’s team considers Bruno as the top choice to increase creativity for the attack, after failing to sign Florian Wirtz last summer.

Since the beginning of this season, Bruno has been forced to play in the left-handed central midfield position in coach Ruben Amorim’s system, which has prevented him from fully utilizing his strengths. If he cannot adapt and improve his performance, the possibility of this midfielder being put up for sale is likely to happen, especially when MU needs younger and more suitable factors to refresh the midfield.

At the age of 31, Bruno has made nearly 300 appearances for MU since joining in 2020. He stands out with his creativity and strong physical foundation. The Portuguese midfielder’s current contract with the “Red Devils” is valid until 2027, with an option to extend for another year.
