SHOCK POWER CUT: “I’m A Celeb” Special Abruptly Pulled Off Air, Fans Outraged by “Bizarre” and Baffling Ending!

I’M A Celebrity aired another critter-packed episode last night, but its ending left fans feeling confused and slightly robbed.

The popular show followed Aitch through a ghastly trial, deemed as the “worst trial” in the show’s history, brought hilarity and shock as Tom Read Wilson revealed his “real voice”, and saw the campmates have to evacuate the camp due to a torrential storm.

But right at the very end before much-loved presenters Ant and Dec opened the voting lines for who will be put forward for the next trial, fans noticed there seemed to be a sense of urgency to end the show.

Without confirming why, Dec said: “We’re not going into camp today but we will be opening the vote for the trial later in the show.”

Then, following up on the matter of voting later on, Dec added: “We won’t be opening the vote until later.

“But don’t worry, we will still let you chose a celebrity to torture.”

The show ended seven minutes before its scheduled stopping time of 10:20pm, leaving fans feeling confused over what had happened, as well as robbed out of seven more minutes of their I’m A Celeb fix.

“Is it just me or was that a bit of an abrupt ending,” questioned one user over on Reddit.

Others agreed, responding to the original poster with: “It did seem a bit rushed and weird that they [Ant and Dec] didn’t go into camp,” and “Well who was going to tell me that 10:13 was the new 10:20.”

Another theorised: “I think the storm stopped the filming so they [Ant and Dec] had less footage today.”

The storm that bared down over the main camp was no small rain shower.

It left everyone absolutely soaked and battered, rushing to try to save their bedding from becoming soggy.

Aitch and Angry Ginge were previously crowned as “camp royalty”, meaning their bedding was safely stashed away in a raised shelter, so they didn’t have to worry as much about the weather.

But the unprecedented circumstance could have been what led to Ant and Dec having to stop the show early, as they couldn’t continue filming while rain battered their camera equipment.

The weather was so bad all twelve campmates took refuge in the Bush Telegraph for an hour as a mixture of heavy rain and hailstones fell from above.

Filming for the show itself wound up being delayed by three entire hours due to the weather conditions, with the storm taking more than two hours to calm down.

Though Ant and Dec didn’t make a big deal out of the delay and tried to carry on with the programme as normal.

The main event from last night’s episode of the show was Aitch taking on his third bushtucker trial.

The Manchester-born rapper, 25, made easy work out of the challenge called “night night, sleep tight”, but even the presenters were wincing as giant spiders crawled around on his face.

For the trial, which was split into three parts, Aitch had to lay down on a bed to face three separate “nightmares”.

Two characters dressed up as demonic figures placed creepy crawlies and snakes onto him as he was blindfolded, before he then had a chance to take the blindfold off and see what was surrounding him.

The first nightmare was called “frenzied forest” where Aitch was left covered in snakes.

Then in nightmare two, titled “in grave danger”, the rapper was covered in critters while trying to use a dream catcher to catch falling stars.

The final nightmare in the harsh trio was called “dinner is served” where Aitch had to untie four ropes above his head while dealing with massive spiders.

Aitch left the challenge with an impressive eleven out of twelve stars, though one star was later knocked off as punishment after Alex Scott was caught using smuggled salt in the camp.
