The Golden State Warriors’ 2025 playoff run ended in heartbreak, with star guard Stephen Curry sidelined by a hamstring injury in Game 1, leading to a five-game series loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves. As the offseason looms, the Warriors face a critical juncture, with calls for change echoing across the franchise. However, one thing that won’t be changing is Curry’s stance on a growing trend sweeping the NBA: podcasting.
“You won’t see me do it though… I got a lot of other things I wanna do… [Because] if you gonna do something you gotta be all in… It’s not something I’m passionate about.”

In a recent interview, the two-time MVP made it clear he has no interest in joining the podcasting wave that has taken the league by storm. “You won’t see me do it though,” Curry said firmly when asked about starting his own show. “I got a lot of other things I wanna do… [Because] if you gonna do something you gotta be all in… It’s not something I’m passionate about.”
Despite podcasting’s popularity among NBA stars— including his sister Sydel Curry and teammate Draymond Green, who both host their own shows—Curry remains uninterested. A podcast led by the Warriors’ superstar could rake in millions through sponsorships and hosting deals, but Curry’s focus lies elsewhere, particularly on his passion for golf.

That said, Curry hasn’t ruled out making guest appearances on other podcasts. NBA fans are already buzzing about the potential for a sit-down between Curry and LeBron James on James’ show, Mind The Game. For now, though, a Curry-led podcast is off the table, as the all-time great continues to carve his own path, both on and off the court.
