The ‘Big Brother’ House Becomes a War Zone, But The Real Villain Is… A Tiny Detail Pulling All The Strings!

ITV Big Brother viewers have criticised a “pointless” decision whilst demanding a significant overhaul to the programme.

Big Brother has made its comeback to television screens for its 25th anniversary, introducing a fresh group of strangers who have entered the legendary house. Already, recognisable contestants have faced elimination as the twists and surprises continue to unfold.

Most recently, Big Brother witnessed a staged eviction when Sam was “evicted”. Rather than leaving, he was relocated to a concealed room, alongside political influencer Emily, who was sent home within hours on opening night, as well as former housemate Farida, from Wolverhampton, who appeared on the programme in 2023.

Nevertheless, with the contestants due to be reunited in this evening’s episode, certain viewers have demanded substantial modifications to be implemented, reports OK!.

Writing on Reddit, one user argued that alterations were necessary to the show, including bringing back the 30-second countdown during eliminations. They continued: “Secondly the secret room task should have at least been 4 days the bare minimum.

“It would have made more sense for the secret housemates to watch and analyse the house for a number of days and it gives them an opportunity to gather more Intel to help them make decisions. Having this whole build up of voting to then only have housemates in this room for one day is anticlimactic.”

They subsequently remarked: “Secret rooms in the past were for like a week. And previously they had it in a completely separate building instead of a task room.”

One fan responded: “Being such a small room literally next to the diary room sort of felt like an afterthought and maybe wasn’t planned to be like it was.”

Another commented: “Disappointing to see them only on there for one day, definitely would have been better to be on for a few days.”

During a preview of tonight’s episode (October 20), the ‘secret’ housemates are due to be reunited with the main house. However, one fan remarked on Instagram: “What was the point of the secret room? They were there for like a day!”.

Another posted on X, formerly Twitter: “Unpopular opinion but Big Brother have ruined it for me with this pointless secret room cr*p.”

One person commented: “What a grand epic return after a quick 24 hours..”

Tensions are expected to rise in the house tonight as the three housemates make their entrance to the main residence. Farida is set to share her thoughts on the housemates and their conduct.

She remarks about Elsa: “She just needs to enjoy the experience more. Do you know what I mean? Because, not being funny, sometimes you can get wrapped up in relationships and forget to enjoy.”

Subsequently, she tells Teja: “The thing is, sometimes you’re influenced. Like, for example, Teja, I would say, because you’re so young, you will be influenced by your peers.”

How will Farida’s observations be received by the housemates? Viewers will need to tune in tonight to discover.

Already, audiences are voicing their opinions as one person responded on Instagram: “It’s all gonna kick off tonight babessss.”

Another viewer exclaimed: “FINALLY WERE GETTING SOME DRAMA OVER HERE! ! ! ! !”.

A third added: “Casting Farida was a genius decision.” A fourth agreed, stating: “Oh Farida is the fairy godmother of this season.”
