Meanwhile, Maeve is also noticing issues in her relationship with husband Joe. Joe tragically lost his grandad during filming, which meant he had to leave Maeve alone in their flat while he returned home.
He was briefly seen on camera telling Maeve he was going to the funeral, and confessing to Ashley that he was uncertain about his feelings towards his wife, reports OK!.
In Monday’s (20 October) episode of MAFS, viewers saw Maeve attend a dinner party by herself, leading to speculation among her co-stars about the state of her marriage to Joe, who hadn’t given her a clear answer about whether he would be returning to the experiment.
Tonight’s episode (October 22), sees the couples taken away on a retreat, but Maeve is still on her own as Joe is nowhere to be found. She vents her frustrations while other group members discuss the situation, leaving everyone wondering if Joe will return at all.
In an exclusive sneak peek, Maeve is seen sharing her feelings with Davide and Keye, stating: “I am really upset but now I’m getting to the point where I am really angry with everything.

“Like he’s told me that he’s coming back and I’m constantly waiting, looking at my phone, seeing if he’s text us. There’s no communication.
“You know what it is, I’m actually sick of thinking about it.”
Speaking directly to the cameras, Maeve confesses that her mind has been “all over the shop” as she admits: “I feel like I’m not in a marriage.”
With uncertainty surrounding her marital status, some of the other cast members are discussing Maeve and Joe’s situation. Co-star Ashley reveals that he too has been trying to contact Joe.
However, Ashley confessed that he “hasn’t been able to get a hold of him.”
