One of Julia-Ruth Smith and Divarni Balogun’s guests from their wedding day has revealed the red flag moment that never aired on our screens and a private conversation they had that spelled disaster from the start.
Dancer Julia-Ruth, 29, and musician Divarni, also 29, tied the knot seconds after meeting while walking down the aisle.
Although the pair appeared to get on straight away when they first met, things have been pretty rocky between them since their honeymoon.
Divarni’s cousin Tia – who appeared on the E4 show during family week – has taken to TikTok to share her thoughts on it all, and spilt the beans on a lot of stuff that viewers don’t know about their relationship.
In her social media post, she referred to a speech that didn’t air on our screens, and a private chats with Julia-Ruth before the in-laws table discussion.
Writing about their big day, Tia said: ‘At the wedding party on the bride’s side there was a speech made with some big RED FLAG ENERGY.

‘That’s why the next day her back was up and the road of stress joined their happiness.
‘There were things hidden from the groom’s side about her we will never know the truth on.
‘But keep in mind we warned him that something was not right and none of us could put our finger on it before anyone left THE WEDDING.
‘We knew his only intention was to find a lifelong partner in someone and marry them. We supported him as his family and friends.’
She also referred to the drama that went down during in-laws week when Divarni ended up walking off while they were out with each other’s loved ones – but there was a secret conversation between her and Julia-Ruth that did not air.
Earlier this month horrified MAFS UK fans gasped ‘they are done!’ as Divarni broke down in tears after a brutal swipe from Julia-Ruth’s friends.
Julia-Ruth’s friend told him: ‘I’m really concerned about what Julia told me about you yelling at her. Personally, I don’t agree with people that shout to communicate.’
Divarni replied: ‘When it comes down to something that is heavy on my chest that I need to get off, what I’ve learnt, I’m going to have to take a step back.

‘Take space if there is any form of conflict, instead of badgering, I guess “attacking”.’
Julia chimed in and said: ‘But you’re not taking accountability there so… by doing this [making quotation marks] you’re taking away from it.
‘Acknowledge and accept, don’t back track. But doing this [making quotation marks] takes away from it.’
Divarni said: ‘You’re making it sound like it was intentional.’
‘I’m not saying you have a malicious bone in your body, I’m saying that was the situation. That’s what you did,’ she replied.
Divarni told her: ‘I took accountability.’
Julia-Ruth’s friend said: ‘I don’t think you did, sorry.’
Crying to his cousin, Divarni said: ‘It’s just the words, saying I attacked her and all that kind of stuff. I’m not that kind of person.’

Things got very heated around the table and Divarni went quiet and eventually got up and walked off.
Away from the cameras he started crying and his cousin tried to comfort him.
‘You’re not like yourself,’ she told him.
Tia said on TikTok: ‘Family day was a s**t show. Everything was so pretentious. I saw Divarni, he told me all things I already sort of knew would happen.
‘Hence the *eye roll*. Keep in mind on the side me and Julia had conversation earlier in the day before filming where she was all bubbly and happy. Joking with me before I went to flats to hear Divarni’s side of things so she did not at one point let on how bad it was.
‘When I reached the table & we all saw those looks she and her friends were giving me her energy had completely shifted by the time I sat down.
‘Of course my response was a big fat no. I felt like In that moment it was 3 against 1 and I stood my ground. Having his back was the job I had.
‘There was a lot more said at that table and I did call her out on wayyyyy more. But that was also [scissors emoji].’
Not only that, she also replied to a TikTok which spoke about how Julia-Ruth has released a music video about the episode last week which saw Divarni disclose that they had been intimate.
She wrote on the post: ‘This is only the beginning. You will be shocked until the end of the season.’
The most recent drama between the two has been about how Julia-Ruth has wanted to keep their sex life a secret.
On Tuesday viewers have called expert Paul Brunson’s take down of bride Julia-Ruth ‘TV gold’ following on from Monday’s dinner party, which saw the rest of the couples call out Julia-Ruth’s lies.
Julia-Ruth drew gasps from the room when she insisted she did find her husband attractive.
‘This is huge, less than 24 hours ago you said you were attracted to Stephen,’ Paul pointed out, before asking her why she wanted to make a pact not to discuss their sex life.
‘We were called the hot and cold couple and I just felt like it was another can of fuel,’ Julia-Ruth explained.
Turning his attention to Divarni, Paul declared to the defeated looking groom: ‘I think you have been had, tooken, hoodwinked, bamboozled, led astray, run amok. If you don’t wake up you are going to be in for a terrible life my man. You’ve got to snap out of this.’
‘Julia-Ruth everyone has clocked you. Divarni, the only one who has not clocked this is you.’
Julia-Ruth issued an apology after watching Monday’s episode, as she insisted: ‘I came into this experiment hoping for the best – a lifetime partner.
‘I think I lost myself to this process, over and over.’
‘I hurt a lot of good people who loved me and to this day am still making amends with those I’ve wronged and will continue to do so.’
