MU Plans to Sign Endrick as Zirkzee’s Replacement

According to Caught Offside, Manchester United are targeting Real Madrid’s young striker Endrick to bolster their attack in the January 2026 transfer window.

Despite securing Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig for a record fee in the summer of 2025, the Red Devils are still on the lookout for new attacking options. Alongside Endrick, names like Mateo Retegui, Jean-Philippe Mateta, and Harry Kane are also on their radar.

This interest stems from Joshua Zirkzee’s struggles at Old Trafford. Since joining from Bologna in 2024, the Dutch striker has found it difficult to adapt to the Premier League. This season, Zirkzee has mostly been a substitute, playing fewer than 100 minutes. Recent reports suggest he is frustrated and open to leaving in January 2026 to secure regular playing time.

Caught Offside reports that Endrick is seen as a prime candidate to replace Zirkzee if he departs. The 19-year-old Brazilian is facing similar challenges at Real Madrid, where he has not played a single minute in the 2025/2026 season. As a result, Endrick may leave on loan in January to gain experience and further his development.

Besides MU, several other clubs are also interested in Endrick. Despite his recent lack of form, the striker, valued at around £30 million by Transfermarkt, remains one of the world’s most promising young talents. He previously showed glimpses of his potential under Carlo Ancelotti at Real Madrid last season.

However, current Real Madrid manager Xabi Alonso appears unimpressed with Endrick. With a star-studded attacking lineup at Real, the young striker’s opportunities are limited, paving the way for MU and other clubs to pursue him.
